Our vertical glass processing center proMD is a powerful all-in-one solution designed for maximum precision and efficiency – with minimal handling.

All processing steps in a single machine:

  • One-time clamping – ready for a finished product with the highest dimensional accuracy
  • Seaming, milling, countersinking, grinding, and polishing of external and internal contours
  • Milling & Drilling (MD) – holes and cut-outs using drilling and milling tools
  • Optional: cut-outs using waterjet technology

The proMD is a highly efficient solution for both series production and batch size 1. Especially when it comes to drilling, cut-outs, and special shapes, the system excels with ultra-short cycle times, a high level of automation, and stable processes – even when processing demanding low-E glass.

Patented Water Cushion for Ultimate Processing Stability

The patented water cushion of the proMD introduces a new dimension in glass processing: 
CONTACT-FREE, VIBRATION-DAMPED and highly PRECISE.

The glass is gently yet firmly pressed against the roller wall – without mechanical contact. This protects sensitive surfaces and effectively dampens vibrations. The result: superior edge quality without chipping.

Thanks to consistent tool cooling across the entire processing zone, process reliability is maintained even during long production runs.

The water cushion automatically adapts to the glass surface, even in the case of shape deviations or dimensional tolerances – ensuring continuous edge parallelism and significantly reduced tool wear.
